There is no reason to be anyone but yourself because you ARE awesome. At what you do and how you do it. You ARE on the right path and need only trust in the process.

Trust the process and allow the magic to happenFledgeling, early years or full-on been at it for 25 you will experience a roller coaster of emotions in business. Massive highs when the world seems to open up for you at just the right time and offer just what you need. When you enjoy clarity in the bucket load and 'whooping' at your desk is the norm.

When you trust in the process and believe anything is possible.

And the opposite when doubt hits and the inner critic seems to be shouting at her loudest. Bumps in the road (as I like to call them), moments of doubt and times when you just want to pull your hair out. Resulting in paralysis and suddenly not knowing what to do next. And the project of yesterday you had such faith in, suddenly feeling all wrong.

Learn to trust the process

Even on the days when you just want to curl up under the desk with your favourite bar of chocolate. Trust in the process, because you’re awesome, where you should be and WILL receive all that you need.

Okay, this is easier said than done, yet with practice can be as easy as you need it to be. Like switching a switch and bathing a room in glorious light - that easy.

Here are three ways to reconnect with the process and regain trust:

1. Remind yourself how far you’ve come and all that you’ve achieved.

2. Read and appreciate the testimonials you’ve received.

3. Ask yourself what one step or action can I take right now to recover the balance?

It’s easy to take for granted the journey and forget the successes you’ve enjoyed. Even when you practise daily gratitude you can fall out of alignment. Often because you’re going through the process of writing as opposed to showing true gratitude for that which you’ve received.

Celebrate your achievements, successes and the journey from the heart and not in your head.

Similarly reading your testimonials is not enough, you must appreciate them. Remember the shared experienced of working with a client or patient, the smile the product created. Testimonials written from the heart go way beyond providing credibility, they are part of your journey.

Be thankful for the time taken to write the kind words so you may take pleasure in them.

Getting back into the flow and getting back in the game is as easy as taking one step. Giving your attention to one action or throwing yourself back into a project. Ideally, yes it needs to be the right step but you might be surprised by the momentum created from taking action no matter of its importance.

Remember, it takes just one small step to move forward, trust in these small steps.

Good days, bad days .... days when you want to run for the hills and wonder what the hell you’ve done. Others when you could hug strangers in the street with excitement. Ups and downs, highs and lows they will come.

No matter the day or experience they are all happening for you (not to you). They are part of your awesome journey and because you are right where you’re supposed to be.

Relax, it is coming, trust in the process and continue being your awesome self.
