With Brexit still hanging over us here in the UK, we’ve witnessed some unusual events in 2019 including Parliament sitting on a Saturday and a general election in December. Plus, I voted for the first time at a Polling Station (previously voting by post) and sadly not as exciting as I expected.

Reflect on your 2019We’ve witnessed young people worldwide striking and standing up to be heard on the issue of climate change; Greta Thunberg standing tallest.

The marathon was run in under two hours for the first time by Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge. And in rugby, we all watched on as South Africa won the world cup with their first black captain at the helm.

Companies tested a four-day week and saw an increase of 40% in productivity. Mental Health First Aid training is now available and workplace stress starting to be understood.

Donald Trump became the first sitting US President to visit North Korea and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern changed the countries gun law in just one month.

Not forgetting that Frozen II finally hit the big screen, among other box office hits such as Dumbo and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil which was awesome by the way.

Think it safe to say it’s all been happening in 2019 and for me, Thunberg stands out. A young woman on a mission and who has given our children permission to be heard.

Personally, I’ve had the most awesome year, dipping my toe into meditation and discovering Esther Hicks. Putting self-development and personal growth first I’ve changed, I’m different and feel that I’ve arrived and ready for the next step.

I’ve learnt and accepted it's okay to switch off the news when it makes my blood boil and results in me shouting at the screen. That happiness is a right and that I must take responsibility for my own. That in being my truest self I can have a positive impact on the world around me.

Discovering in 2018 there was such a thing as Money Mind Blocks and I’d a huge number, I’ve been working on these over the past twelve months and now creating my abundance. Truly understanding the art of gratitude has really helped me in this area and I'm super excited for the year ahead for me, for you and all my clients.

Because a new decade is waiting for me and you.

All the work we've done to this point is about to pay off and 2020 is only the beginning of an amazing journey.
