Hello and thank you for stopping by to find out more about the woman behind
LBB Business Solutions.
Over the years, I’ve seen some major changes in the way business is conducted including the introduction of the world wide web and email, remembering when mobile phones were the size of bricks (I’m showing my age I know)! Some things haven’t changed and core business beliefs and ethics are as valuable today as ever including the power of strong business foundations, clear vision and exceptional customer experience.
Before establishing my business back in 2013 I was City Centre Manager here in Salisbury where I live, a role I held for 10 years. It gave me insight into the challenges of running a business, the stalling points and sadly the reasons why businesses fail. My partnership working experience goes beyond those 10 years resulting in an appetite for collaborative working and finding business solutions for effective and efficient working.
But what does this all mean to you?
I get a real buzz from working with companies who have recognised change is needed, that without a trusted pair of hands to help will not achieve their aspirations and business goals. Have you reached a tipping point, decided that you want to achieve more, take a small step or a big leap forward? I am fortunate to have worked in the not-for-profit sector, government and commercial arena and I have developed skills that I make available to other businesses through LBB Business Solutions. Could my skills be the answer you are looking for?
Here I could tell you that I am passionate, thrive on a challenge, can reprioritize to within an inch of my life and love a deadline as much as an oversized tote bag! All of which is true, well apart from the deadline bit as an oversized handbag will get me every time. No client or job is the same, I offer both strategic and operational support specialising in marketing ... well, that’s a heck of a statement about marketing! The one thing I am clear on is marketing is different for every business which is why I get a thrill from working with small businesses who want to be heard.
How can I help you?
Detailed below are the skills I have that can make a difference in your business, or skip to the end where I tell you more about my love of handbags!
First rate PR and marketing: including social media and website development. In addition, I’m no stranger to radio and have experience of television interviews! More recently I have developed LBB Training, offering bite-sized marketing masterclasses to reduce the marketing ‘overwhelm’ felt by so many of my clients.
Strong and sound financial and business comprehension: from successful budgeting to keeping financial records, essential to running a successful business. Never happier than when I am developing strategy documents providing the platform for business achievement and/or development. Both important to creating those sound business foundations I talked about earlier.
Exceptional event management: a guilty pleasure of mine I have to admit and I’ve had the honour of organising events both in the UK and Hong Kong, to a budget of course! If you have something to celebrate, a product to launch or an expo and don’t want the stress ... I probably do!
Outstanding communication skills and confident presenter and trainer: loving nothing more than to share my knowledge with other people. There is something quite special about the opportunity to speak to others, from the heart and with passion, that leaves a person clear on what is needed, excited about what can be achieved or just itching to get back to their desk because they can see the light.
Finally, a little more about me and my love of handbags
I am a busy working mum, I probably experience similar highs and lows to you and understand what it’s like to run a business and be the ‘everything’! It’s why LBB Business Solutions was established - to make your life easier!
On a more personal note, I am married (bless him for taking me on!) have two small and beautiful children (I would say that) and still very young at heart! I am rather fond of fast cars, love over-sized handbags and pretty shoes but what woman doesn’t and have surrounded myself with amazing friends!
Oh, and don’t tell anyone but my mum makes all the school outfits for plays, etc because I can’t sew for toffee. A perfect example that we don’t have to brilliant at or do everything and should focus on the things we love to do!
